Another step in the Mayor’s Sus­tain­able Code Amend­ment project, this set of rule changes will ease the path­way to estab­lish­ing urban farm­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties in the City as well as farm stands for locally grown pro­duce and the instal­la­tion of res­i­den­tial –based power gen­er­at­ing devices like wind­mills and solar arrays. This set of changes is aimed at estab­lish­ing best prac­tices in com­mu­nity sus­tain­abil­ity in the areas of alter­na­tive renew­able power and food pro­duc­tion sys­tems.
